HOUSING INFORMATION
Located in Washington’s fashionable West End and adjacent to historic Georgetown, Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown hotel welcomes guests in capital style. HOUSING RESERVATIONS
A block of rooms and preferred rates will be available through August 13, 2013. The conference room rate is $159/per night (plus 14.5% in occupancy tax). Rooms can only be reserved through Hospitality Upgrade with a credit card guarantee. A link to the housing reservation system can be found in the official invitation; please do not contact the hotel directly. Pre/post rooms are based on availability; please contact Event Manager Charlotte Somers at charlotte@hospitalityupgrade.com to extend your stay beyond the dates available through the reservation system.
**Rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. After August 13, reservations will be accepted on an as-available basis only, and rates may vary from the group rate.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations for room reservations received in advance of arrival date will be without penalty. Cancellations received less within24 hours of arrival date will incur a penalty of one night room and tax. Note – please notify Siegel Communications in writing of a cancellation before the first day of the conference (September 4) so we can plan accordingly. ARRIVAL TIME FOR PRE-CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES. Two pre-conference activities are planned in conjunction with the 2013 CIO Summit. If you are arriving on Tuesday, September 3, the night before the conference begins, Hospitality Upgrade invites you to attend a pre-conference dinner at 7:00 p.m. If you are not arriving on Tuesday but are participating in the pre-conference Amazing Race Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, September 4, please plan to arrive at the hotel no later than 12:00 p.m.
ARRIVAL TIME FOR OFFICIAL CONFERENCE START. If you are not participating in a pre-conference activity, please arrive at the hotel no later than 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 4 when we officially kick off the conference with our Welcome Cocktail Reception & Barbecue. We have a very special activity planned for all attendees during the reception. You won’t want to miss it.
DEPARTURE TIME. Two complimentary departure shuttles will be provided to Washington Dulles International (IAD) and Reagan National (DCA) at the conclusion of the CIO Summit at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, September 6. The Washington Dulles International (IAD) is located approximately 26 miles/35 minutes from the Fairmont, Washington, D.C., Georgetown and Reagan National (DCA) is located approximately 5 miles/15 minutes. Please plan your flights accordingly.

FREE LIMO TRANSFER / GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Free Arrival Limo Transfers. WEATHER/DRESS
Average September weather in Washington, D.C. is a high of 80 degrees and a low of 63 degrees. Dress for the Welcome Cocktail Reception and Barbecue Dinner on Wednesday, September 4 is casual and comfortable. Jeans or shorts are acceptable. Dress for the rest of the conference is business casual, including the Gala Reception and Dinner at the International Spy Museum.
