Golf Tournament Replaced with Fishing Charter

Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2011

We are taking advantage of the South Florida location of the Summit and have replaced the annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 7 with a private fishing charter. Captain Carlos Mendez will lead our group on a fishing expedition we won’t soon forget. Carlos specializes in catching sailfish with fishing kites and live bait. His top-notch crew will teach you their tournament-proven tactics to land that special fish. This four-hour fishing trip will include lunch, beverages, live bait, professional fishing equipment and licenses. What a great opportunity to network with the CIOs while enjoying one of Florida’s all-time favorite activities!
Transportation from the Mandarin Oriental will leave at 12:30pm and return at 5:15pm. Space is limited. Again, we have cancelled the golf tournament. It is Miami, the hotel is right on the water and there are a million boats around it. When you are in Rome, why not do as the Romans do. Let’s go fish!

Please note: Space is limited. Conference participants must sign up for fishing in conjunction with online event registration or sign up with conference organizers ASAP.
